Remember those natural gas reservoirs like the one in the background? Gee, what could go wrong? why don't they use those anymore?I remember them very close to residential areas!

 

Im not sure that it is Tustin. I dont see a big wide paved areas next to the hangers like that in any Marine air station Tustin Pictures I googled

 

Don't give up hope Gary! There is a guy in LaGrande Oregon that runs an old Texaco in old school décor. Damned if the picture isn't on my computer. Anyway he sells gas and will work on old cars. Picture later...

The Netherlands are so nether that nearly half is below sealevel. We had our last big flood in 1953. Over 1800 people drowned. In rescue-operations leftover US army material came in very handy.

Just wanted to thank everyone who posts pictures on this site. This is one of my favorite sections of the HAMB. Gary Reynolds , your pictures are really varied and interesting, I also enjoy seeing the family pictures and wonder what lives these people led, now gone , the children grown and now old.
