Your point falls in the blah blah blah area.
Most cars today have little personality.

  4. I know the bomber has been posted a million times, but I grew up in Milwaukie, the town the bomber was in.
I always bugged my Dad to get gas for our 50 Plymouth or our 60 Plymouth at the bomber. But my parents sole criteria was price. They's drive all over to save a penny per gallon. Being WW2 airplane crazy, I LOVED the bomber. The few times we did go there was ( I thought) really COOL! They also had a restaurant that my folks thought was too expensive! Yes, my folks were uh thrifty!
As an aside, there were still B-17's flying in those days! My Dad was in the Forest Service and some were firebombers.Got to tour them several times.GREAT MEMORIES!

Building on the left is an airship hanger. What airfields in Ca. supported navy blimps. Probably used for coastal patrols early in WWII.

Naval lighter than air support base opened in 42. Blimp hanger was over 1000 feet long. Could run today's thousand foot drags indoors.....

Rare even when new - Chrycoman on forwardlook.net's forum has '56 Dodge two-door wagon production figures listed:
I can't remember ever seeing one.

The Dodge wagons never made use of the rear fins from the 56 model year. They instead used the rear quarters from the 55 model year with the chrome "Finette" I love the look of the 56 tail fins, but the 55's suck.

100% Correct. Mostly cookie-cutters. NO personality.
