The only thing left to do would be to stretch the hood out to match the front sheet metal and grille!

 

note how much space between top of running board and bottom of door on Moose's depiction?
And how much space there is between top of running board and bottom of my door on my car?

I think that space NEEDS to be there.... IMO

 

I did that VERY THING and I ruined a perfect hood, and got a very bad look. IMO

 

At least we had the same idea of what might work [emoji5]

I think it had to do with location of headlites, just didn't look correct to me and some of my peers.

Also the hood tilts to the front, would have taken prayer to continue with a look I didn't like.

verde742 I'm not a fan of the lengthened hood look on these either.

 

Got a pic of it not in shadows? Im not a pro at PS but gave it a go anyway.

Can somebody throw some black flames on my ride? I'd like them to go to the rear fender and on the roof if possible. I included two pics to choose from. Thanks in advance!

 

The aspect ratio of the pictures that you posted is not correct so I changed it to about how it should look...

flames aren't BLACK, flames is red,yellow, white and blue

 

Hey verde742....Been some good looking hot rods and customs painted with black flames over the years. Like anything else in the custom car world it's a matter of personal taste and doing something different and innovative and sometimes pushing the envelope of what is considered to be NORMAL

 

YEPPER, personal taste says it all.....

GOD didn't make black flames...

Moose, I love the black flames and you are correct, normal isn't normal anymore.
