1935 Packard. Does appear to have '34 bumpers and that extended trunk is crazy.

There must have been a rule that all wrecking yards have standing water.
Seems like every one I went to did.

It does appear to be a 1935 Packard but the bumpers are 1935 as well. It is a top of the line sedan with the V12. I had a 1935 Sedan V 12 with the same bumpers and restored a 1935 V12 Convertible Sedan and spent an inordinate amount of time redoing the bumpers on that car. The thing cool about the bumpers is that they are weighted on the ends.

The bustle is wild, but does not really surprise me as it was "better" in the eyes of the owner than carrying a separate trunk on the rear rack I suppose. I do not believe owners drove around on a regular basis with a separate trunk on the trunk rack. Not sure it does much for the lines of the car though.

Rootie, this Allard rag top just flips me out. I've never seen one like that. Is it stock? Gary

It's not a Allard actually, it's Perry Fina's Caddy powered Nardi that was raced out of the Northeast in the early 50s. Pretty rare as only a few were built like that but fortunately it still lives.
