I do, I don't know what all your plans were with the bed, but the Stude fenders, anyone's fenders added to that are going to need the metal at the bottom lines of the bed to drop down to level with the front cab and running boards, which will also clean up the gap between the bottom edge of the fenders, for either model's fenders. imo. The Stude fenders are closer in style to the lines in the front fenders. What you probably need to scrounge up(HAHAHAHA!), are a pair of the Coupe Express rear fenders. Those might actually look better mimicking the sweeping lines of the front fenders than do the 2R more "bulging" style fenders.

I hope I can find pics of the black Scout my son and his brother-in-law finished up with light purple fading to blue flames on the doghouse. It looked cool af. It was his first car and his mom and I bought it back from him after he got tired of it and we drove it for several more years until we had to decide to fix it or sell it.

Either these pipes or the other, it depends on your time stamped look you want, but definitely black sets that car off. POSSIBLY, in a white or cream color.

  23. I’m starting in on a ‘41 Ford cabover that I plan to do in a pickup style. Been looking around for an old bed for it and came upon an old Studebaker pickup box. Any way someone can give me an idea what this mash up would look like? It’ll be lowered but not slammed to the ground. Here’s the truck and a sample of what the Studey bed looks like. Sorry the one is the wrong way but I think it can be flipped easily if I understand correctly.
    Thanks in advance- Greg

Chop the top of the trunk lid off to avoid a kick up at the back of the roof and it ought to look pretty good.

Moose. Thanks, I had to go through a lot of actual photographs to find one of the Scout I mentioned. It doesn't show the flames as nice as they appeared but still an idea. Evidently this was before I had a digital camera. I came across a lot of pics I enjoyed looking at again, along the way. Thank you.
