    Hey Jnaki,
Regarding the LA traffic, I had just completed a contract job in Santa Clara in '95 and was heading back home to Texas. I remembered driving through LA in the mid 70's, when we were hippies, and the traffic was challenging.
I figured if I could get to the north side of LA by 3pm I could make it through before the evening traffic rush hour.
I got there just before 3pm and got out the south side of LA around 7pm! WOW!

Why does this guy need a 360* steering wheel just to drive in a straight line on the quarter mile?

"from Vintage Surf Transportation in July..."

    Hello,
Those two girls are the famous So Cal, Calhoun sisters from Laguna Beach, CA. They were two of the best surfers in the whole area, always out in the water at Brooks St. and Oak St. when the waves were up. Their mother, looked like the sisters and was always mistaken as the third sister. She too, was a great surfer, looked fabulous, and was ever so friendly.

When Brooks Street was pumping, the mom and sisters were always on the beach or in the line up riding waves. They were the surf family of So Cal, true locals.

    Jnaki
Not only were they outstanding surfers, they (all three) also were very easy to look at and talk to in Laguna Beach.
