  1. Because I like to view them better that way, I don't like many multi pic posts.I also don't find images to post in groups, I find them here and there, mostly one at a time and post them as soon as I find them.

I think it's easier to comment on them if posted one at a time.

Even tho I saw many ad photos like this one, I have never saw a 55 Bird with the side chrome. Can you imagine the 2-tones of these....

And why not? Individual shots are easier to deal with from my end while viewing them and it is much easier to refer someone back to a particular shot.. To each his own. :)

Looks like Chicki putting right rear tire on. A roadster being prepped for a dirt race. Pre roll bar days circa mid 50's.

Can't place the sprint car or driver. It is a URC race, I see Scats' car in background.

Harry Dee is the driver (and owner I believe) of the #25 Tiger Spl. Not real successful as a driver but I believe he went on to some renown as a flagman with the URC.

C'mon man, who gives a shit!! The odd one slips through and they're really close to the line. Other threads, especially "events" have a newer car/truck next to it and they're not the main focus of the photo and I don't see anybody getting their panties in a knot. Having said that, I do enjoy your contributions.

    Precisely!
There seems to be a faction here that just goes from thread to thread mindlessly clicking the "like" button, my involvement here goes much deeper than that so yes it is much easier to respond with actual comments when there is a connection felt.

  20. I welcome comments, in fact that's largely my intent in not captioning my pics.I used to do so, now
I want readers to be involved and comment and post their own stuff. I obviously post a lot, I REALLY enjoy it.
If somebody thinks it's too much or has a problem, I'd appreciate them PM'ing me instead of gumming up the thread.
IF you enjoy them I'd like to know as well.I'm retired, not in great shape and have the time.

  21. These slice of life kind of shots, along with drag racing, are my favorites.Thet remind me of being a kid in the 50's and 60's.My Dad, neighbor guys and relatives, EVERYONE worked on their own cars.

  22. My older brother fed me a steady diet of this stuff with Hot Rod and Popular Hot Rodding magazines from an early age, I LOVED IT! STILL DO!
