sure does! but there are subtle differences. Notice how the rear wheel well is not level on either car, one slopes up, one slopes down!
The roll bars are at different angles in both cars. I also noticed the distance from the door opening to the rear wheel opening is different.
While I'm not positive this is the car, it's not easy to cleanly chop a 55-57 Chevy top... That said, at some point (before or after the gold paint), there was a 55 sedan bodied car, was flat/primer black and had a supercharged Ford Cammer engine in it. It was also VERY low to the ground. I remember thinking what a beast. Seeing at Irwindale Raceway several times in the late 60's/early 70's. It also sounded incredible. It suddenly disappeared as quickly as it showed up.
