I reckon this is somewhere in the northern hemisphere, so it must be looking East, as the shadows are on the left-hand side of the parked cars meaning the sun must be on the right, i.e. the South.

    Isn't this Bridgitte Bardot?
    Is that her first car?
Not sure about the hat, though!

I'm not sure what happened here but could this be one of Eddie Meyer's early cars that ran at Legion Ascot?

    Thanks Rootie!

It is at Ascot, but the driver was Harry Jacques. I don't have any more info but I don't believe it was fatal though it probably didn't do him a whole lot of good.

Thanks, Rootie! Eddie Meyer (Louis Meyer's brother) was based in Redlands, CA and called some of his cars the Redlands Special which is why I asked about this one. Here's a great 2003 article about Eddie as told by his son Bud. And based on the photos I would have to say that the car Jacques crashed at Ascot was likely owned by Eddie.

  21. "Freak snow storm" on the Oregon Technology Institute campus, Klamath Falls, OR. This slide is from Mrs. Kurtz's collection and is dated January 1964. The campus moved closer to town and its name changed to Oregon Institute of Technology not long after this was taken.
