    But I believe that Danny O’Brien actually owned the car. He had the pix in his office when I went to get a machining quote, he and his son Dan gave me a complete heads up on that.
    I think they all had the Yeakel Connection.

  6. Waldport, Oregon's finest on patrol, March, 1964. The Chevy Impala in the background is a Waldport police patrol car. The photographer may well have captured the entire police force and all of their equipment in this one image.
    In 1963 the police logged no fewer than 5,569 miles in this car. That's a lot of patrolling when you figure that at the time Waldport was 3/4 of mile end-to-end and had a population of less that 700. (courtesy Lincoln County Historical Society)

    Thats how my dad taught me to start the tractor when the battery was too low to crank it..It is important that the crank engagement nut be shimmed to place the crank in time with the crankshaft..When the engine is at top dead center the crank should engage at 6 o'clock.
