Keep digging around - where did you see this truck - etc. etc... Just promise all of us here on the HAMB, that if you're lucky enough to acquire this rod, that you will re-do from the "rat rod" look. Surprised Ryan, our administrator did not find a way to slap me right upside my head for mere mentioning that 6 letter word...

The vehicle in question is a 1934 Chevrolet sedan delivery MASTER SERIES DA. It would have a spare in the right front fender .

Joe Iaccino in new mexico has one , a canadian built one. Joe can be found on the VCCA CHAT site posting in the 33--36 chev section. He is not a fan of street rods so keep it to your self. Make a post about 34 master sedan deliverys and he should answer you.
A panel truck is built on a 1/2 ton truck chassis and is based on a truck body

looking at the picture I saw the.......... lowkalkulture.com and went to google search and there is a bunch of hits to that name. Its a guy Steve ??? who takes pictures and posts them. I had trouble moving around the site and discovering more

that's the way to find the car. don't think its a RATTUS RODDUS, just looks like its being worked on and driven.

maybe air bagged as its definitely IN-DA-WEEDS.

"LOW" being the key word here. Some of those are pretty nice but lower than you can drive is dysfunctional.

ah ha, the wire wheels are gone and now has billet specialtys legacy wheels ? Mucho upgrade. Looks like the roof got recovered too from previous pictures.

Huuuuuum , never saw anybody take the chevy grill bowtie emblem and cover the crank hole cover with it down the bottom.

Also looks like some red primer got thrown on the body and sanded.

The head lights are 7" sealed beam GUIDE B-3 from around 1938 and they were used on a lot of makes of trucks. Has the lights on top, they repo these now because at one time rattus roddus guys were bidding them up to $600 a pair on ebay.

  11. that is an extremely rare 34 sedan delivery . All the front sheet metal , fenders ,hood ,grill, running boards and fenders, doors and rear fenders are from a 34 master car . It has a single rear door . It is also built on a 34 car frame . Very Very rare car .
made them in 35, 36 ,37, production numbers are in around 500 for each year
    2 of my friends each have a 34 and another friend has a 36 and a 37
Not to be confused with a panel truck totally different

They have body nails and screw nails listed in their catalog. Before I found them I cut paneling nails shorter and sharpened them for the smaller nails and got "boat" nails at Ace hardware to replace the larger ones used originally. I replaced all of the wood in my '31 Pontiac.

That makes two of us... I'm looking for a passenger side door, although I can get someone local to re-skin my lower half worst come to worst. Are your doors missing? Here is a photo of mine for reference... 20171025_223704.jpg

Whoa... You have your search cut out for yourself. You need doors more than I do. You should place an ad in the WANTED area of the HAMB. I just placed an ad earlier today - if someone happens to respond to my ad and it's a good enough part, I'll pass it on to you. I was just hoping for a door with very minimal work involved. You DEFINATELY need it way more than I do. Check HEMMINGS Motor News when you can - a great source of parts for almost any car or truck.

Yes I just have a rear shell starting from scratch on all of it and that would be appreciated they don’t even have to be in that good of condition

ABSOLUTELY! I'll shoot some photos tomorrow and post as well. Actually, you can get an illustration of the entire wood structure through Autowood Restoration and other wood restoration shops.

A very good source of new parts if/when necessary is AMMUSCLE, who runs Buy it Now auctions on eBay. They have more than most NEW sheet metal for our '31s. Look for 31 chevy parts on eBay and you'll see for yourself. Patch panels, floor pans, rumble seat hinge and pillars, trunk lids and more.

your door doesn't look bad enough to need re-skinning, just a quality body man who knows what he is doing to pull and hammer it out to refinish in metal without resorting to "body man in a can" .

Amazing what the sight of real hard cold cash does.............greed sets in, they want it.
Try to find out thru the photographer who owns the car.

two years I decided to find the Phaeton I now own, pictured in 1982 in rodders digest on the cover. I found him and he still had the car, we talked he wasn't interested in selling, thought the car was $160,000 car. I hung in there and showed him 33-34 ford phaetons that were selling for well under $100G. He thought I wanted to flip the car, but when I told him things about it he had no idea of , he realized I was a true 35 chevy guy and eventually we made a deal. I overpaid for the car , but I know what it is and how rare .

If you want to buy a 34 chev master S D , be prepared to step up to the cash register , because if your going to low ball the seller, you will get rejected and end up with nothing.
