Vern Tardell use to sell one, but it's out of stock. Does anyone know of another company making a pre-fabbed replacement flange to mount an F1 box into a '32 frame? Trying to save time by getting one pre-made. Thanks,
Thanks. I see the wedge for an F100 box, but couldn't find the F-1 wedge/flange. Do you know if they have that piece? The one I'm looking for is a weld on flange.
You asked for a wedge, not a flange. If you want a flange, contact NealinCA here on the HAMB. He's the steering box expert for hot rod Fords.
+1 for Neal Jennings (Nealinca) ,he makes them. Not a very difficult piece to make if you have the basic tools, but Neal sells them at a very reasonable price.
Thanks. I sent Neal a PM. I don't have a piece of steel thick enough, so by the time I source that and get it shipped, I thought it would easier to get one pre-made.
Also, you can contact Dave @house of fab He does the flanges and modifies the boxes to fit the original mount holes properly.
