I think that you already have a black and white picture of how it should be. (I would, however, lower the grille shell to match the channel)

Thanks anthony myrick for your feedback on the 3 inch channel, No adapters as the wheels are 5 on 5.5 early Ford Cragar SS’s with 4x15 fronts with Goodyear Blue streak sports car specials and the rears are 8 x15 with Goodyear Blue streak stock car. I am not planning to use these Cragar SS's on this build at this time. I think this thread is getting a lot of comments and that is what the H.A.M.B. is all about to exchange ideas. Please see black and white picture below with White Wall Tires and let me know everyone thinks for wheel selection (Rim Size and Tire Sizes) that is pictured as that is an important decision for this Project and I appreciate all suggestions.

I like the cap idea, or even Chrome reverse like the old pic you have. 6.00-16 front and 7.00-16 rear. Not quite as much rake, more white sidewall, and wider tread in the back than the 7.50-16

4FCED59E-C7AC-4025-A5D8-5039916DE710.jpeg My thoughts are if Henry wanted them with out fenders , he would not have added them , just think of the money he would have saved in production . To each his own , you have found the holy grail of finds , finish your way and drive it like you stole the last gallon of gas on earth !

Thanks xix32 for your feedback, you are correct that this Deuce was full of many of the Original Henry Parts still after all these years. I was in total disbelief when I was loading my enclosed trailer and holding these very hard to find Jewels all in one place. Please see pictures below of the unfilled Roof with Chicken Wire and Wood and unfilled Cowl Vent, both Doors and Rear Window Garnish, 3 Window Dash with working Glove Box Lid with Knob.

Roadsir & Deluxe Speedshop cars are very hard to beat... and fenders can come and go quickly. Channeled body is obviously going to require mods to the rear fenders, but whatever... once they're modified they should come and go quickly. I'd be inclined to bring it back up to where it was originally and put fenders back on it. I bought an already chopped (and not finished) '33 3W so I didn't have to deal with this dilemma... :D And, my avatar isn't getting chopped.

I'm 41. I don't mean put 18" wires on it and mount the spare behind the trunk, original ride height... I'm just saying stock floor, sitting on top the frame... like the 2 examples I listed as looking very well done. I'm not going to cry if he chops it 6"... I just wrote what I would do if it were my car.

Now this is one of my favorite 3 windows on the HAMB and not a bad way for you to take yours....I would put it back on top the frame like it should be.

Thanks lurker mick for your feedback, Yes this is an Original Deuce with a Patina’d Body in color. Please post a few close up pictures of your very nice looking Original 3 Window in your avatar. I would like to get a better look at the Black color on your Deuce as that is one color that I would consider if I stripped and painted this build.

Let me first apologize, I was kinda being a smart*** when I posted that. You had mentioned it being original Henry steel several times, and I thought I was being clever but was actually a bit jealous of your amazing coupe.
My coupe is not original Henry steel, in fact, it's not steel at all, so thanks for the compliment.
Please build your coupe the way that suits you, and keep us informed of your progress.

    Mr clean,
please ignore the guys who think this car is an investment,
Please ignore the ones who think it must be put back to stock
Please ignore the ones whom would add fenders.
Please ignore those who would add cycle fenders and paint it yellow

Because inside every single one of them there is a teenage kid with a desire to go fast, pick up girls , smoke the tires and live life for the fun of it. But alas they are so beat down by nagging wives, credit scores, and cholesterol counts they forgot what fun was all about.

And because if those kids could escape all that **** they would likely lay an *** whopping on their older selves

Now that is the definition of Azz Woopin . Not my young body wantin to Woop my old body . To each his own on a build , that’s what makes our hoppy so much fun , not Azz Woopin !

Thanks waxhead for your feedback, I think this thread is getting a lot of comments and that is what the H.A.M.B. is all about to exchange ideas. Please see picture taken below of the Headlights that came with the Deuce and are in the Black and White Photograph taken in Tulsa, Oklahoma at some point. I am unsure of the Year and Make of the Non ’32 Headlights on the Modified ’32 Headlight Bar and could use some ***istance on identifying them. The second picture below is of some Original E & J Headlights that could also be an option on this build. So many different ways to go on this build and I would really like to hear what everyone would do for Headlights on this Deuce build.

I found my 32 3w already channeled. Now i must admit i haven't turned a wrench on it yet.So i'll keep my opinion to my self BUT.You could build it un-chopped 1st, drive it 5-10years ,THEN CHOP IT.Whole new car.Just an idea. best of luck!!!
