Another famous FAKE Motion wheel stand. Look at wrinkle on the slicks.

Before the Spruce Goose was assembled some of the parts were in storage a couple doors down the street from where I worked, pretty big parts like the nose.
Saw them everyday when the doors were open, not sure why they were stored 45 minutes from their ultimate destination.

Gotta get some in early then out out and eat some turkey. :)

The first V8 powered car built in America was the Buffum Runabout. It was produced in Abington, Massachusetts, from 1905 through (roughly) 1910. It featured a 6.6L V8 that made a whopping 40 hp.

we visited the Spruce Goose in June this year in McMinnnville Or
we had seen it in Long Beach and we feel the long storage has not done it good
the Howard Hughes mannequin that sat in cockpit was destroyed in storage
to take a tour inside the plane costs $25 so we were told

Good eye, Gary- yeah, the Pontiac Grand Prix aluminum wheels had 15" rims mounted to 14" assemblies allowing better air flow for cooling. The rims were hand fitted with new lug tabs and re-faced on a lathe for flatness- taking 26 year old builder Bruce Townsend 10 hours per wheel.

Posting from my phone now, it's a Chevelle 2door model 300 wagon. Denny had one if I remember his posts correctly.
Laptop dying, the top row if letters doesn't work. So I only have one vowel! It's like a gag order.
