Some pics from a Divisional, mid seventies. Wheeler Dealer, Green Elephant, Joint Venture Corvettes, James and Fischer Willys, Rob Harrisons Corvette, Hikida McHardy Willys, not sure about the others. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/barfco/library/Mission Raceways early 70s?sort=3&page=1
Interesting photo from 1972, thought I would post it here. Some here probably know this, this car is sitting in a basement garage about 15 miles from here, completely intact as you see it, slightly dusty but in excellent shape ( 48 yr old lacquer paint), including the sq. pt. bbc with XC-96 ram log. Total time capsule. Should have taken pics when I was there the last time.
I am going to try posting this here as its very much a local thing, I am on the hunt for a pair of unused Western Accessories waterslide decals in good shape. Anyone?
i forgot to get photos also, its a very cool car. maybe next time .... i have one, maybe you could get it copied? i have a pair of 15 x 6" american magnesium 5 spokes if you are interested? matching 16x10" also(with very rare 5" backspacing) all for 4 3/4" chevy
I havent seen Jim for a while, how is he holding up? I have to go across the river anyway, I should give him a call and pay him a visit. Yes, I would be interested in scanning the decal, I could probably print copies. Interested in the Americans too, but man, I KNOW thats going to be a BIG chunk of change. We should meet up for a talk. I will send you a pm.
Here's a photo of Jack Williams Willys that I've never seen before. Buck kinney's Camaro is in the background as well.
