Looks like a chrome firewall but bent out for some reason at the bottom. And look at the shock mount!!!
I have like 4 of these coils. They are the coolest. Unscrew the cap and a light bulb is in there for the resistor. Whats with the 3 different types of hose clamps. Original Edmonds heads. Love the ribbed hoses.
I think that contraption on the left A pillar is a high beam switch that would tun your high neams off when it saw headlights coming in front of you. I got one given to me to put on one of my cars that's in the box from the 50s.
BCCCA sticker on the side window and look at that headliner!! This car belonged to the founder of BBBBC but in the summer of 1952 he died in a tragic drowning in Cultus lake. As did his best friend who owned the Apache roadster
recessed firewall, relocated oil filter and incredibly long ribbed hoses. And llok at how high he made the gear box. I guess he didn't like the way the steering wheel was located like a bus . Something looks really weird with the drag link at the exhaust!!!
Seems that the Lappel patch could go anywhere on the BBCCCA jackets. I've seen them on the left, right up and lower.
1953. 1935 Standard 3 window with crome eyebrows on the headlights, dual spotlights, aftermarket horns with stock spoke wheels.
Fantastic stuff Rabid...and thanks also to your stepdad...he's lived a great deal that we dream about. These should get the earth shaking with the BC crowd it did me...Thanks again
@The Rabid Whippet this I want...and I promise not to change a thing......Ya never know some of these gems may still be around I hope...really I do... https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/bc-custom-car-associaton.821966/page-15#post-12318933
