I didn't have a chance to take a ride today. That is probably a good thing, it was one of those days nothing went right.
Maybe I should have taken the day off, it probably would have been a better day. Maybe I'll be sick for a while in the morning... Its still suppose to be pretty nice. Gene

Maybe the salt will remove the new black paint to reveal the original red.:p

Ted scenic route 169, and stop at the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret. Also down town Putnam car cruise in August, antique shops to browse there and rubber duck race.

My cervical injection got waved off today, so I'll stay home anyway. I'll have the Ford out for sure. So far no sign of salt on the roads. They use this liquid stuff, apply it early in the morning or late at night. Easy to see the pattern it leaves on the road.

    chicks dig chevys!

    i say we get a posse together and make a run to see @F&J , @edcodesign , @ct1932ford , etc..

i hate that*****. i live at the foot of a switchback road that goes up and over a hill, all in the shade, so they coat the road when there is any weather forecast.

  20. I changed the oil on the old girl yesterday and took her for a ride before the rain sets in tomorrow. Its a real nice day here today. Yesterday marked the 1 year ago we had the massive fires here. Glad most people are rebuilding and the mountians are coming back to life. Bruce. 002.JPG

Like Spring here today in Connecticut. So out they came. Riding in the roadster was even nice. I could have put the top down if I wasn't so lazy. Only problem I was not able to drive both at the same time. So I took the photos at home.

Thanks for the pics Ted. Love those covered bridges. Corey and I managed to do 4 out of 7 on a covered bridge tour when we were in Allentown,Pa. When we were there in 66 Fred Steele took us on a covered bridge tour in his 28 Tudor complete with all the Fall colors. We don't have covered bridges here in OZ cos we don't have snow.

  26. Ted its an old grist mill some one is restoring a little at a time. The water comes from a stream and emptys back in to it. You would not believe it but that wood was all new 3 years ago.Bruce.

  28. Ted if its nice tomorrow .I will take a ride back up there again and get some better pictures.Bruce.

I visited that covered bridge on the way back from Tri-State ATHS Truck Meet in October, great pictures. I'm over here in Charlottesville, lots of great scenery here in central Virginny!
