    Hi. Google is your friend. McCollum Grocery & Loftis Café was Greensboro Alabama. mid 1930's.

    It is a view of the parking lot from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Greensboro, AL.

  14. Don,I just googled the business name- C.A. Johnson & Son and a couple came up,one is in the UK and by look of the street scene it's here in the States. HRP

    Google maps is fun. It wasn't taken from the Catholic church, btw, it's on Main Street.

    I was referring to the photo in post #6. And I was also making a wild-assed guess, one that is most certainly not correct.

    @56don...Dick is right...that works if the image has not been renamed...and this feature is on my cell phone but not the desktop and Perhaps it's the browser I use at home Mozzilla Firefox and not Google Chrome. My cell is Chrome...Hope this helps and it's real handy sometimes.

    Rusty's second image leads to one foreign link and a facebook page and I'm not on that to so I would have to go by name in image and its to grainy to make out.

    This image you have to identify by something in the image so hey ya older fellows and lasses what is the business near back ending in FOX or TAX the first word is tough to decipher?

    DAZA FAX?

    @rusty1 this is a toughy

    Even the truck in front of that business may yield the clue.​

  23. Yes, I found out that this method works with Google Chrome but it doesn't work with Firefox.

  27. HRP,..thanks, I did see that the store was a clothing store rite after I posted, it says "ready to wear" at the bottom....ain't havin any luck with the parkin lot photo tho.

    The parking lot looks like a 30's 40's LAPD impound lot when they took your car if they found weed in it. Just joking
