Dodger, you're usually spot on. But that's a Packard and a Dupont.

 

Looks like it might be a trophy dash, Bob Sall on the pole, Frank McGurk on the outside Hank Rogers on the inside, Bill Holland in the 29.

 

Way to go, Rootie, I love the right coast pictures. We all know Bill Holland won indy in 1949 and I think both Sall and McGurk made the race and was Hank Rogers a non- qualifier ? A real nice shot of some great drivers!
