    This '31 Vicky belongs to my friend Matt here in Phoenix. Matt's machine is super bitchin', he built it from what was pretty much a pile of rusty parts and got it on the road only about 5 years ago. This photo is recent and has been altered to look like a snapshot from 1968.

    Looks like George Robson in a fairly rough looking Big Car somewhere. And by the looks of that "helmet" he must have just set fast time.

    Robson at Southern Ascot Speedway circa 1938. I believe they continued the "Gladiator" helmet tradition from the Legion Ascot days.

    I would say possibly taking a picture and lighting his farts for flash...but its light out so that blows that theory to hell...so I guess we're back where we started....
