Want to go for a ride? Nose prints on the windshield. Almost 50!Back view. Good posture. Back to the car after a walk in the woods.

Ours is actually my wife's companion dog. I just do the walking, the grooming, the feeding, the cleaning....but he does love car rides. I wish we could grow his hair that long but it's a real pain dealing with matting. 0816170959c.jpg

Well we went as far as we could..Last Thursday, May 31 of 2018 Hunter passed away; 2 am had a stroke losing all leg control..9 am had him put down..One year and 14 days and as in the above quote we went as far as we could..Almost 2k miles in the Crosley, nearly twice as far from previous years, to the woods, car shows or Napa, dog park to socialise with dog buds..I had said to myself last year that if he made it through the summer I would be courageous with his passing; for the most part I am holding well but those darn moments....RIP Big Boy.. Someone took this Polaroid picture and set it on my drivers seat while I was out running errands.
This random stranger made mine and my wife’s day with this

When our little pal doesn't feel good we are all pretty down around here.
We had a scare the other day when we noticed Cole our miniature Schnauzer mix had his tail down between his legs when he walked and he wouldn't wag his tail when the food or ball came out, and he's been a canine equivalent to a pro ball player since we got him at three months old, he's ten this month. We had been noticing him slowing down and not jumping up on his chair so we knew something wasn't right.
After x-rays showed arthritis in his tailend the vet gave him a pain/anti inflammatory regimen.
This was him after the meds kicked in, but happy to say that after three weeks he's getting back to his old ways, gonna be some tuff love though when it comes to ball playing.:(

  16. Damn that sucks seb. I am very sorry to hear that. Brought back memories of what I went through. My wife and I decided back then, no more pets. It was too painful to go through again but we are slowly coming around. There is an adopt a dog /car show in two weeks. We will see what happens.
Nothing I can say to cheer u up because I still ain't over it myself but time does dampen it a great deal. Mans best friend indeed!
