  4. When was the last time we had VAUXHALLS on the F.A.S? Why, last week, of course, with JIGGER. My efforts from the same design challenge. These British cars were only ever produced as more- doors. 171229VauxPA2-copy.jpg 171228PAbubblerear.jpg 171229VauxPAsuper.jpg

    Hello,

As the Hipsters would say and do, “Let’s go Glamping.” Since most of the wonderful Airstream Trailer camping sites at the local state parks are usually taken before the most popular vacation times, the alternative is car camping. Station wagon cruising in comfort, roar right up to the car-camping site, roll out the mini trailer or all season tent and set up for one week of the two week, standard vacation.

    Jnaki

What about the 2nd week of the “Glamping” trip? Well, it is obviously in a Hilton Resort Hotel or the 60’s Kimpton Goodland Resort. Have to have that free wi-fi… and that feather feeling, king size bed to reward and keep the "others" happy.
    upload_2018-1-5_5-11-41.png
What if you are a “Pick up” kind of couple? No problem, the full suspension, rolling trailer will hold all of your sterling silverware and glamorous camp cookware. Streamlined for great handling along the Big Sur Highway 1 roads, when it opens up again. As a matter of fact, the campgrounds are fairly empty along this stretch of highway due to the m***ive landslide in 2017.

    Happy New Year Glamping…

"Glamping is where stunning nature meets modern luxury. It’s a way to experience the untamed and completely unique parts of the world—without having to sacrifice creature comforts.

The way we travel has changed. We no longer want a generic, one-size-fits-all vacation. We want to explore on our terms and immerse ourselves in local culture, and we no longer just want to simply witness nature—we want to live in it. A fusion of glamour and camping, glamping is a way to authentically experience the most awe-inspiring locales around the world."

Within our hot rod, cruiser budget, of course...

What do you do when the grandkids come to stay and the weather is below zero? The kitchen table becomes an art show. We had a blast. Gary carleeandgary.jpg jaxandgary.jpg

@edcodesign I thank you and commend you on your rendering of the Ole Hotrod at the derelict Ole Antique store in Belfountain Ontario.

Thank you very much again. Pencil is my medium of choice and you handle it very well. Your model pics are a hoot to. That one a week or so ago in the snow with the footprint was very cool.

Just an artsy pic of a 39 Buick Coupe I had.
Anybody guess what the OT car is nose towards the right front fender of the Buick?

This pic brings a subject up as the front of the Snow covered Buick has a kind of funny face with a hawk like nose. Someone mentioned it the other day on another thread about seeing faces in things...
