Thanks for the compliment on the cpe Dave. I've slowed down in mileage on the cpe in recent years, has just over 96K now. Been busy doing my western parts trips the last few years. Have put 76K on my truck in 4 years doing that

Does anyone know the suspension/wheel+tire combo on this car?

 

Hope this helps, I too was wondering the same thing so I talked to Pat a few weeks ago on IG asking him the same question. The tires are 560-15 up front with narrowed upper and lower A arms, the rear tires are G78-15 and I forgot the rear set up.

This is my Dads 48 Sedan. The first picture is when his Dad, my Grandpa, bought it in 1971. At that time it had a flathead 6.




This is how it looks today it now has a 50 Merc Flathead v/8 and a 39 Ford transmission. It has always been on the road since my Grandpa bought it 46 years ago!

 

Is there a video somewhere of your sedan doing a burnout at the track? I remember the hoodless 3 carb set up..... maybe from YouTube.
