Hi Carsten, her name was Helen Twelvetrees, she was an American actress brought to Australia to star in a movie called "Thoroughbred" about the famous race horse Pharlap. Glad you are enjoying the Pic's .

Most of these pic's were taken at Riverside Dragway near Melbourne in the mid to late 60's.

 

I remember when living in Sydney(Bondi 1972) and late at night dropping someone off around Woolloomooloo(yes a real suburb) but accidentally took a wrong turn and ended up heading north on the Bridge. Managed to do a U turn, bounced the old FJ over the concrete divider and was heading south again in no time!!!

I could swear that this car belonged to the guy that dated the girl ( Annette ) across the street from us in Tootgarook in the early 1960's. I was about 8 years old and allways ran outfront when i heard the car.
