Could be phenolic, or could be wood. Both pretty common for thermal insulation and both have similar
thermal conductivity properties. https://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/thermal-conductivity-d_429.html.
I've only used phenolic, but Summit still offers either for carb spacers.

Yeah, just a medium build slant in HA/GR. Only run tall 12's, but she's fun, a bit unique, and I like tossing the gears.
I'll have to look up that thread, looks like fun.
