    I believe that's a Lotus 17.

    Difficult to be sure from the original image, but to me, it looks like it might be a Lotus 11 These have a taller "fin" behind the driver's head.

    your picture shows a Lotus 11 [Lotus 17's had straight sills and flat front arches]

    It's a Lotus 15 without a roll bar

    The driver looks like Raymond Mays

    Thanks for posting the utube video of the Rocket Car. I was wondering how the restoration was coming. I saw this car years ago while it was in barn storage near Lockport.
