Hi y’all. I got this grill insert with an old Willy’s I got. Anybody have any idea what it’s for? IMG_3159.jpg IMG_3161.jpg IMG_3162.jpg IMG_3178.jpg

  3. I was thinking Packard? But I know nothing....

Clay Belt and Hnstray like this.
  4. O.M.G. This is probably wishful thinking but it sure looks like the one I have hanging on the wall that's Crushed from side impact. When I get in the shop I'll look real close and may need to send you a P.M. before making the i.d. here in front God and all the Hot Rod world. 32 - 1/2" tall eh?

  6. Markin59; Can you give me a measurement across the top for total width with it laying flat? My insert is is the same exact length on center line. Also how are the two cross bars connected to the vertical bars?

    18 1/2” outside to outside. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
The passenger side is the worst, the drivers side is loose at the bottom horizontal bar. There is quite a bit of rust on the lower portion.

This thing is taking on a life of its own. I started gathering parts for it several years ago in anticipation of a model a roadster. This body fell into my lap a few weeks ago and there seems to be a struggle of sorts between what I wanted and what I have the parts to do. I’m gonna let it simmer a while and let the car tell me what to do and how to build it.
