    There was some discussion here a few weeks back on this subject where a guy was looking to buy/trade some similar wheels, someone (maybe you) responded to a post of mine.
    The OP claimed the seller told him 68/69 production (Americans).
    I've never seen any of the early Palamides (pre Americans) wheels with the Halibrand style lip around the openings either. Doesn't meen it didn't happen I guess.

    This is Fred Cain from Wilmington, Ma. with his custom 40 coupe. in 1952 he won 1st place in the Hot Rod show in Boston. thats Ed Stone owner of New England Speed Equipment presenting the trophy . Ed was a long time owner of Offy Midgets and was the winning car owner of the 1957 eastern sprint car title with the New England speed shop Offy with Bill Randall as the Eastern sprint Champion Driver.
