1952-59 Ford 56 with borgenson steering box

    The box is in. I need to shorten the steering column and the sleeve.
    Question 1: What is the dimension from the mounting flange on the dash to the bottom of the turn signal housing?
    Question 2: What to do about the horn ****on since the wire can no longer run through the steering shaft?

    I cant answer your question 1, but I looked at a 57 that had the borgeson box, they had a horn ****on installed under the dash, as the factory wire cant run inside the steering shaft.

    Did you happen to notice how the column mounted to the borgenson box? Was it the stock column? I understand that after market columns do not mount in our rides.

    search "save that sweet horn" in ***les only. It came up for me that way.
