I've been working on my Ranchero. I got my 68 302 installed along with the c4 transmission and I narrowed the mustang rear end 3 inches to make it fit. I lowered it 2.5 inches in the rear and 3 inches in the front and put on old school 14 inch torque thrust wheels. I went a little over board on the motor. It has a Lunati Cam and Edelbrock Aluminum heads! I hope to have it ready for the Falcon Meet in Austin in April.

Does anyone know what something like this might weigh when its done? I've heard Ford numbers weren't accurate.

Thanks, I like your 1953 Ford Mainline, I had a Black one a few years ago!

    I'd guess around 2600-2800 lbs.

I’m getting closer. I got a bad sending unit and just ordered a new one. Hopefully I can test drive soon. I got new suspension, new engine, c4 trans and new Ford Trac-loc 3.25 rearend.

I'd say right around 2,800 lbs. I think my sprint hardtop scaled around 2,830.
