Folks Of Interest SCAMMER ALERT !

So I received a PM from a guy ( red flag just joined today)... This joker answered my wanted add for Foxcraft fender skirts for my 36... So called the number (845-288-5089) and texted... no reply or answer after I replied back that the number came up as used for SCAMS... .. beware

 

did you report him ?

didn't give a name, PM message was deleted... trying to find him thru member listing it was
OLD**** 1111 or something... will do a little more work to see if I can come up with his handle..

phone number listed as one used for scams when I did a google search... called the numbers and texted.. no response... (NEW YORK NUMBER)

 

gave info to Ryan? scams are everywhere - friend that recently rented a house has had people coming to the door to inquiring about the house being for rent - owner took down ad right after renting but, someone else is offering the house on a couple of big rental web sites at a cheap rent and says he will pay all utilities - wants people to send him rental applications ***uming that he will use that info to get into peoples bank accounts etc - has been reported.

 

sent this jokers user name to Ryan... after my pm reply that he was a scammer ... they deleted the pm ...

 

If you really want something check for a message from me. Never used the wanted forum, its there and I am thankful that it is but the scammers looks through the wanted ads

 

so for laughs I texted this " wanted add reply" I get a text from him at Early Bird Swap Meet on Saturday..
so I played with him a bit.. They wanted to email me pictures of fender skirts...and asked for my email... So in my reply
text I asked them what their name is, like to know who you are . Why don't you just text me pictures, crickets !

Scammers can change the number being pushed to your caller ID. That means they can be calling from Egypt with a New York Number.
