I actually bought it a year ago. It's a super solid and straight Nevada car, with an old, cheap repaint in original colors of Beige and brown. Not my favorite combo, but the patina is so sweet that I really don't want to repaint it. With original plans to restore it back to stock, I didn't share it on here earlier because Stock doesn't fit the H.A.M.B vibe. Now I want to lower it, and put Supremes and thin WWs on it. Was hoping that a Photoshop Guru could put those wheels and tires on it, so I can see if Supremes and Beige get along, or if it will be like putting lipstick on a pig. ( Mr. Guru, leave the front at that height, but lower the back an inch. It's a static drop, and it's gotta be driveable. THANKS!)
Good plan. My cousin scored the same, a 2dr sedan, a few years ago. 14K mi, original down to the tires and clear plastic seat covers. Well preserved time capsule. Neat cars that are rarely seen these days. Congrats, and keep us updated.
Pops and older brother, circa 1968? Time to trade up the Buick LeSabre for 1965 Olds Dynamic 88. That red Buick, was my first memory of any car. ️ Remember riding in it, laying up on back package shelf Beautiful automobile, please don’t change a thing IMG]https://www.jalopyjournal.com/mobile-gallery/e97da19834ae06a717ba459b0f89fb8d.jpg[/IMG] Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Thanks, Jimmy! Had the Torque Ball and pinion bearing replaced, and changed the gear lube. We're good to go.
59IMPLALER I am sure GLAD to hear that! Good luck with the old girl. She sure will be a nice cruiser! Bruce.
No problem! I do this all the time to imagine what my projects will look like with the mods I have in mind....
