That is on one of JimmyB's threads. It is in at least one of the hot rod books. If those are the same three guys it looks like the one with the big cuffs go wider and not taller. :D

Quoted from Dean Batchelor's "Dry Lakes & Drag Strips via @Jimmy B

"Skip-It" Built in 1934 for 14 yo George "Skip" Rubsch by his father. Car was rebuilt in 1936 and again in '38, that is when it got the '38 olds grille red flames on cream body. <---- info from Dean Batchelor's "Dry Lakes & Drag Strips"

So this is probably Skips Father above
whom built this beauty for his son at the wheel below...[IMG]

If you look closely at the image with who I assume is the father you can see the flames despite it looking somewhat dark or not totally bright as the lower pic appears.

I don't think so he's running a 32 frame and its lanky lean, 283 powered and in early stages but coming together quite quickly with lots of cutting and welding...quite a nice side profile developing...

283? Gotta' love them. An untold secret of my '26 build is that a 283 will bolt right in where the 153 will be and I have one under the bench. You have to have a backup. :)

YOU think thats dangerous,? It was owned by Jack Coonrod from Vancouver, Wa.
you should see him drive his '33 Willys Coupe, heck, hot exhaust pipe AIN'T NUTHIN'

Dec 8, 2010 - Jack Coonrod's gasser. He was originally partnered up with Wayne Harry and they ran a 36 Willys pickup. They parted ways, Jack kept the engine, and built his coupe, which debuted in late 64 or early 65. By 66, the top had been chopped, and the suspension rebuilt by Finders. For the 67 season, the car ...

  27. One could say that they either really screwed with that Model A or they really screwed with that Crosley and they would be correct on both counts. LOL

The Crosley body on a stretched A chassis is a natural. I would have to say that iinstead of Homogenized, it is Alamgamized. :D
