    pictures aren't great.an neighbour recently gave me one of these for safe keeping.
    book entitles owner of vehicle PZF 682 to purchase 24 units of petrol a month.the coupons attached hereto are valid only during the particular month specified by official notice.i will try and trace that vehicle it may be something interesting.

    My Dad was from Ireland. He got married in 1940 and his sister gave him five gallons of gas as a present. So his honeymoon was as far as 2 1/2 gallons would take them. He joined the Irish army as a truck driver so as he put it "he'd have transport". He left Ireland after the war.

    I visited my grandmother in Ireland in the 60s. She had a drawer full of ration books. No gas ration cards though. She lived with an uncle and an aunt and they didn't have a car at that time.
