    How bout these western PA creations IMG_0410.JPG IMG_0569.JPG IMG_1742.JPG The 49 Ford should be in Ohio. The 54 Merc May be in Florida. The 51 is in my garage, but I’ve lost track of the other two. Anybody?

    Briefly, Gary Mekita and his pals from Meadowlands Street Rods club restored the car for Andy (beginning in 1986) Barris-built nose intact, and wearing new red paint. A good overview is HERE:http://www.hotrod.com/articles/1932-ford-kassa-coupe/

    After Andy's death in 1998, the car was invited to Pebble Beach (2001), as well as being chosen as one of the "75 All-Time Great 32's" at the GNRS.

    In Dec., 2009, HAMB'er (and Meadowlands Street Rods member) 1935Ron posted this picture of the coupe undergoing its new face lift.

    I think it safe to say that the Barris nose will remain with the car in perpetuity.
