Bend the bottom hinge back a bit two whacks with a heavy hammer to get the top and bottom even, then portapower the A pillar and front door opening about 1/4 in it'll spring back to 1/8th bigger that should do it. these are old bodies they want to be bent back into shape.
Hope Flop doesn't mind me helping out - he's using a burnishing machine - a scotchbrite type material drum that runs on an angle grinder type machine. I think Eastwood have them but I've seen them on the 'bay. I'd add that this simply provides the final finish - the finishing magic on the magic that's performed earlier! Chris

That's a very nice car. I reallydig it. But I already have a fully rebuilt 32 chassis with a big inch Frenzel blown flathead, 37 Lasalle tranny and a Cyclone quick change all ready to go. Just need the body.

Fine makes a rat tail grinder with variable speed and what they call a "sinus" wheel. It is essentially scotch bride in a drum shape. They are not exactly cheap but more readily available than Eastwood stuff. I used to sell them. But have moved on.
