The 34 Ford 5 window 4 cylinder is done,if I had a way to replate the grille I would have tried to take the V8 emblem off.
Your build is "One Step Beyond" and "Out Of Limits" (not touching the "Penetration" song title) I too have the album. I heard that Nokie Edwards recently passed.
Thanks. The original car was Fred Steele's...from Massachusetts. Do an online search and you'll find some interesting things about it...how he took it west to Calif and joined the LA Roadsters car club...and because the record company photographer wanted to do a night shot overlooking the valley from Mullholland Dr the plain ice box white paint job on the T Bucket was perfect for the job. Car was an inexpensive build...for its time...25 T body on a shortened and pinched model A frame...265 cu in Chevy small block...triple carbs...stock rams horn headers...Columbia two speed rear end...58 Chrysler Imperial chromed wheels...
Nice rendition of a real car...Id like to build a version of Bob Bernardon's 39 Chevy "Jolly Dolly" that ruled the C-Gas class in the DC-Md- VA area dragstrip back in the late 50s early 60s.
Try using Molotow Liquid Chrome markers. Available in various sizes from Amazon or ebay. They work really well especially on small areas.
Cool!My friends brother had a 62 Dodge Dart when I was a kid.We got a kick out of the push button tranny gear selector.
