Joe, you speak of clearance for a mechanical fan, I agree, and just as a suggestion, take a look thru the search feature at the Zip's water pump riser. On my "A" roadster on '32 frame with "A" front crossmember it allowed me to go from a max fan dia. of around 12-13" up to an 18".

I would have loved to have a flathead but the are so damn expensive to build. The 327 camel hump motor was the next best thing. This is not the actual motor that is in there right now just a mock up.

Sneak peek at the motor mounts for the sbc 327. Hopefully we will have them all welded up tomorrow.

We were able to finally finish up one of the motor mounts. It took almost 4 hours of grinding and hand filing to get that cast finish. Looks amazing!

Beautifulness (probably not a word, but it seems appropriate)! Love all the effort you're putting into this, please keep sharing. Those motor mount pics (from start to finish) should be in the Friday nite art show thread, they Belong!!

Joe, cool build with a ton of nice fab work. Keep her going brother. Question on the motor mounts which are a 10 by the way, is there a bottom support that extends into the frame underneath? Wonder with how far it extends out from the frame if you will get any cracking into the frame weld over time. When I built my frame mounts which are a similar idea just not as pretty, I notched them in a way that they sit on top of the frame and extend down and are welded inside and out all the way. Now I’m running a 409 which is a lot heavier than your 327 but with your frame not being box I just wonder. Certainly not trying to pick apart as your fab skills speak for themselves I just like to bomb proof anything major structural like a motor mount. Are you going to run a mid mount as well? Plans to box the frame? Keep up the great build, I’m a fan
