I usually use my springboard mounted to my skateboard and after getting up a good head of steam (yes my board is steam powered) I simply do a double back flip into a full gainer with a twist....an Ta-dah! Right into the Driver’s seat. Simple. Make sure the top’s down!
And your SpringBoard must be a UL approved steam powered SpringBoard. (I like the ones made in China), Do Not attempt your launch from uneven pavement or speeds exceeding 20mph. I have perfected this maneuver after many attempts after being released from the Hospital. (I’ve spent time in every one in the area). [emoji541][emoji603]
If you follow my instructions to the letter, you may eventually succeed. Remember practice makes perfect.[emoji41][emoji684][emoji106]

    Great vintage look.
Simple grille swap transforms Chevy, appears near bolt-on.

    1946 Buick grill.
    1946 Buick Super Eight (0000600-08).JPG

That's the beauty, looks like it will plop right in but I bet it was more involved than that. It does look good in the Chevy!

    Thanks, Sancho!
    Fixed!

I agree...the builder would probably take exception to the "simple" part.
But it does go to show: It doesn't take a 'Big Change' to make a 'Big Difference'!
"Mild " doesn't have to mean "Boring"!

Tony, your '50 1/2 Ford is bad ass. I always thought it looked like it had been sectioned a little bit, but it was subtle and i never could figure it out. Raised wheel openings, that's it. Great car!

One beautiful Customline right there! The cheaper version of the Victoria, but I think it’s just as pretty. I salute the owner.Note* the hardtop roofline.

I agree @Mo. A beautiful sophisticated lady, that carries herself well, as she glides down the runway @KUSTOMLAND.

That 64’ reminds me of the paint work of the loco Bandito’s of SoCal. How bout it, any Bandito’s here?

Mild customs often employ subtle changes that set them apart, without your ever even knowing why (such as the raised front wheel wells on the ShoeBox posted by 50Fraud).

A small change that makes a big difference to a '58 Chevy is a molded upper grille bar, as seen on the red car a few posts back. I find it surprising that it isn't done more often.

This is one of the things that helped make Andy Southard's '58 such an outstanding custom.

'58 hood on a nice '57 convertible. Dig the red top boot!
This is a "My uncle had a new Ford just like that!" kind of car.
How about that Fab grille?

One immediately notices the paint job on this '55 Chevy, but the Pontiac side-trim is also a defining element, helps make this a Stand-out.

Even stock trim can be re-emphasized for a new look. Flames and scallops are employed here to re-divide the two-tone in a whole new way that really accentuates linear flow.
    I love this car!

I love that one too! I don't know why we don't see more like that now. Not too complicated, lowered, shaved, and paint. This could be pulled off over a stock two-tone and be even less involved....The grill on this one has been swapped but even with the stock piece this would still be a kool car.

Be nice to find a reasonably priced earlier restoration and do one of these......
I know how expensive tri-five Chevy's can be but this could be done on a lot of cars.

Swapping out the white back-up lights is a time honored-trick on many vintage Chevies.

This might go unnoticed by many in the daytime, but not-so for this one at night...all six lenses have blue-dots!
    PURPLE HAZE!!!

The lenses on Moriarity's '61 are 1961 Pontiac.
