Customs TO TINT OR NOT TO TINT - THAT IS THE QUESTION

I did a little photo shop of my 1933 Dodge DP 6 with tint windows.

what are your thoughts and what do you think of old cars with tint?

I like it but wouldn't do it unless I had blinkers and power windows. I don't have them so tint would have to wait.

You're asking the wrong question.

This is the HAMB. You should ask, "What did guys in the 1940's-1960's think of tint?

The answer is that they didn't do it except for maybe Gassers with orange or red tinted plexiglass side windows.

No, unless it's something super light, just to knock down glare.

 

I hate tinted windows. It is a real turn off.

 

We had the '32 tinted for a couple of months and didn't care for it. With the flat glass the reflections just got worse and it was even harder to see at night, but then we are also in our 60's.

 

My 51 Fleetline had dark tint on the windows when I bought it. Look it all off after a bit. Seemed goofy.

HAHAHAH you guys write the best comments. I will not be tinting the windows. does look somewhat cool in my opinion. however, many of you are right. not on that car. the Gangster 4" white walls and the look of the car needs those see through windows to have the clean stylish look. the black windows would be better if it had a 440 v8 with a lower stance. but I will be leaving it clear.
