So I sold my ‘32 ford pick up on here in spring of 2016 to finance a tudor sedan. Found one on here, made the deal & it was delivered last spring. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
The first major issue was getting the 3, 94 carbs set up properly & tuned. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Next was getting the brakes to work properly with the Buick drums, ford hubs & backing plates. I couldn’t have done this without the wealth of knowledge about this I found on here & Tommy from Tyngsboro re arching my shoes! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
After setting the toe, getting the timing dialed in & fixing a sunk float. I was finally able to put some miles on it & enjoy it with my family. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
After having a core plug in the back of the pass cyl. Head starting to leak I decided to pull the engine, tear it down & go through it. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Love your Deuce, love your 'Rocket'... Sold my Triumph, empty pocket. That's a solid looking '32. What kind of transmission and rear end? (is the speedo inop because of the absence of a cable?)
Thanks. Muncie M21, 4speed. ‘55 olds rear Transverse leaf, model a rear crossmember. ‘35 radius rods modified. Speedo works, I was stopped @ a light when my wife took that pic. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I took the 303 to a machine shop with plans to rebuild; because I couldn’t find a 324 local. I ended up scoring a stock running ‘56 324 with low miles. So plans changed Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Picked up a ‘56 324 olds rocket from Ray Helger yesterday. I could have spent all weekend @ his shop. Super nice guy, he & his fathers collection of early fords, hot rods & Parts is incredible! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Sweet! Now, what's the plan? have you rolled it over yet? Pull the plugs, roll by hand and see if it goes all the way around freely. Remember that 371 I bought and the idiot started it with a frozen valve that ended up thru the top of the piston....bad story for sure! Your 303 intake runners may be smaller than the big ports on those #10 heads. I had enough meat on mine to match it to the head runners.(not the one in my avatar)
