Thanks for answering that. I thought I knew his face (Mert Lawwill) but couldn't put a name to it. I think he became internationally famous due to the movie On Any Sunday. That movie had a significant influence on a lot of people at the time. I guess the other two in the pic are members of a film crew - maybe something to do with the movie?

 

Malcolm Smith is the one on Steves right...the first on the left I believe.

 

This is evidently one of Strother MacMinn's images from the 40's or 50's ... this thing is cool as hell ... anyone have ANY info on it?
