I saw this today on the Outlaw C.C. garage tour in Pueblo, Co. 1964 vintage Sprint car, 283, 3 deuces on Alky. Waiting to be restored...

A small free swap meet. I took a few parts. I didn’t sell anything. But I bought a box of NOS instrument panel bulbs for 2 bucks and the Greenline gauge.

Yesterday, I was sitting down reading/typing some information when all of a sudden, a message appears on my 4 year old phone. It was from my wife. She was visiting her sister and they went to a home tour of classic old Santa Ana, CA homes. A friend of theirs is remodeling one of those old classics. But, out in the same surrounding neighborhood for this home tour, was a historic car show with everything from old classics to hot rods.

She knows I love old hot rods and custom cars. Her eye is sharp and sees a lot of hot rods on the road, pointing them out as they drive by or are parked somewhere. But, since she just got a new phone with a great camera, she wanted to show me her photographic skills. A nice looking 1939 Deluxe Ford Convertible staring me in the face, full screen, up close and personal. Nice…

She remembers driving and driving around in our 1940 Deluxe Ford Sedan Delivery back in those early years...Those old memories sparked something in her at this show. Once a 39-40 fan, always a fan...Plus, it was a cool 50s-60s style convertible made for So Cal. This was a nice day to be out and about, with a rain storm approaching So Cal by Tuesday. April showers is still lingering...
