Hi all, I have a 58 Ranch wagon, its missing the side gl*** and frame on one side (L/H)and I'm looking to get a replacement , does anyone know if the frame is the same on the 57 or other years ?
If you can't find the gl***, you can form sheetmetal and make it a sedan delivery. That way you can get it on the road. Then you can tell people that it is a even more rare version of the Ranch Wagon.
Have you called some of those big antique junk yards in Idaho and Arizona? Sent from my SM-G900V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
'57/58 are identical, so either year will work. The side gl*** is all flat laminated, you can have that cut to size. You'll also need the latches for the slider (IIRC, '55/56 will also work), the channels for the slider, the U-shaped seal for the stationary windows, and the seal between the two pieces. I believe the channels and stationary seal are being reproduced.
Dennis Carpenter or MACs will have all of the rubber you need. As stated earlier, 57/58 side gl*** is the same.
thanks for the info guys, will see if I can find a complete unit somewhere otherwise there are some good leads.
