I got about 6 hours in the shop... we had family up from Oklahoma so maybe next weekend. I just need about 8 more hours and I'll have the rear brackets made and get these inserts cut down and fit. I had the square pattern punch pressed by my buddy Craig to match the front desoto bumper. I'll run the exhaust ports out the corners. I just need a rear bumper on it... its been driving me crazy. I still need to do some triming and I'll run a 3/8" lip around the top edge of the metal.

    Welcome back Germ
I bought this from a dude in Sacramento back in '04..... I think either you flaked the roof, or owned it? Its still in socal, somewhere north of Burbank. Had to sell it to buy a model A truck from Killer... the 57 was a good daily, of all the cars I've flipped through it was the most used.

The kid offered to drive it down to me, so I said if it made the trip to LA I'd give him $4k cash. I remember he was trippin a bit, he had to drive through south central hahaha.

Found more photos... looks like the tail end of the rewire. The summer heat defin Im definitely a photo hoarder. If you want more I can email or pm them.

This chopped 59 from Kustoms by Brewer is probably my favorite.

    Nice and simple.
I don't know why we don't see more (traditional) mild custom Falcons.

This build was started in 1984 and finished by ‘88 or so? The builder was an immensely talented man from Las Vegas who passed away last summer. I learned so much from him over the years by just hanging around at his shop. I felt like he was my older brother. Or a crazy uncle that your mom doesn’t want coming around the house. I learned from him that you can do whatever you want as long as you do it really well. I really miss that guy.

These pics are from the craigslist ad. Whoever has it now: you have a piece of modern art.

Terry Browning's '58 was a cover car in Jan., 1960.
Given lead time, this car was practically new!

Here's my '61. I tried to give it a little old school vibe.

My friend and his wife were going through some old stuff of her fathers (he died some time ago) and came across this picture from 1956. John and his twin brother worked at the Bearsville Garage near Woodstock NY. This was a wrecked 56 Ford 4dr.sed. that was rear ended. A new car at the time John and his brother built this Ranchero. I was told that a rep from Ford came to look at the car, nobody knows why but the Ranchero did come out in 57. John, Mike and the car are long gone but I took a picture of it and wanted to share with you.
