It looks like it's going to be a wet one.

I just looked at another report and it's calling for rain Sat. night so we might be good. Fingers crossed. Friday looks like a wash though.

 

This persistent "thunderstorm every afternoon" scenario makes me feel like I'm living in Florida!

 

Yeah Don, the weather is not looking good. Even if I don't drive the Hot Rod. I'll be there, rain or shine. Look for our HAMB banner, and stop by and say {Hay.} For me it's about the friends, food, jalopies, even da mud, and also telling the same old stories around the campfire. A rainy day at the Showdown is still a lot of FUN !!! I may need one of these. Lol Ron....

 

I'm going to be there too, rain or shine.

 

I'm headed there this weekend...They still race in the rain? Right?....Right?

I think I'd be happy to get covered in mud for this event.

I wish I could've brought My 30 A' Roadster but It was running so good I thought I'd fix it and took the hole thing apart.

Oh that is the best news, I tried searching the forums other Jalopy Raindate Stuff and this is all I found.

This has made me as giddy as a school girl.

packing the trailer for showdown. here is some big stuff I am not bringing unless someone is interested. PM me and I will throw in the trailer if you want

1) 1955 - 1956 ford wagon rear bumper (rechromed)
2) 1949 - 1951 mercury 2 door side trim (fenders, doors, quarters)
3) 1955 pontiac 2 door trim (complete set)
4) 2nd row seat out of 1949 - 51 mercury woodie wagon, probably fits ford shoe box too.

If you are interested in ANY of these parts PM me, otherwise they stay home.

My F-3 don't mind a little rain or mud. Pea Green won't be ready anyway
