dig it. only thing i'd change is run the rails more flush with the bottom of the doors.

  13. i would like to do that and pitch the rails in so the hood sides will cover the rails and not have to be cut. not sure if the sbc will fit if i pinch the rails?

Photo shot does wonders. I have fooled with it a bit on my 33 dodge pickup project. I like the full hood, and smoothed off look. 3 olds pipes, or 4 hemi danglers would look sweet poking out the bottom of that hood!

  19. looks good, I love the hood vents. That car will stand out in a crowd.

  20. I like it, good luck, keep us posted.

  21. It’s a bout time I made room in my garage and have enough parts to get started just one thing I need a set of 53 54 Chevy hubs and and backing plates to make it a roller

I'm diggin the hood side detail. Are those raised triangle-like thingies? Looks cool and a nice change from louvers.

one thing I think is cool on a car like that is to retain the OG frame and front parrallel leaf springs. I don't know why... maybe I've seen every variation of ford style buggy spring and the parrallel leaves are different...

Damn, that looks awesome. Reminds me a lot of the 31' Desoto I used to own (but never actually had! Haha!).

Here's basically what your car would look like fendered, if that strikes your fancy at all, but I love the way your drawing looks now:

Man, he has a lot of cool cars, eh? I just wish I hadn't of traded my Desoto I bought off of him. :(
