I have a stock (for now) 39 tudor. I want to ditch the stock distributor for the later crab type. As the 39 style coils just are not available. The car is 6 volt and I have the opportunity to buy the harmon and colins 6 volt one pictured one. I understand there is an adapter available to make it fit. Does anyone know where to get one? Sounds like I need him. Ask around. See if you can find out his contact. Thanks.

We stock both types adapters if your buddy doesn’t have them. Assuming you have the 3 bolt timing cover, and the stock 39 camshaft, this is the adapter. It will move the distributor out front by an extra 3/8”. If your motor has the shorter 42-48 camshaft, you’ll also need the spacer button.

On the Harmon & Collins dizzy, make sure that the middle spacer (orange part) and the rotor are good. Those parts are difficult to find.
