Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

Maybe just me, but am I missing something? What is kustom about stock 57 and 58 Ford Retractables? See posts #10656 and 10657. Makes the Sesame Street song come to mind ... "One of these things is not like the other.... One of these things just doesn't belong ... Can you guess which thing is not like the other by the time I finish this song"

Wow, Nice lines. Thanks for posting, Jim. My fave is a 41, (no running boards) But I do like this 40. Rear 3/4 shot is spot on. Profile shows quite a difference where the door/quarter meet and the front/back window channel meet. Interesting ... I'd still love to hang my arm out the driver's window of this one.

 

This weekend I will be gearing up for the Custom Car Revival. I cannot wait to get the Merc on the road. How about some pics of some of my all time favorite Mercurys...

Kool to see Jade Idol restored and cruising around at Santa Maria. I'm not sure if a Jade Idol thread had been started but I like the actions shots posted below.

Man, dontcha wish money fell from the sky like manna every morning and you could scoop it up and have bought the Idol and had Gene repaint it then drive it like that? Well maybe manna and idols don't go together really...but I am glad someone did it!!!
