You are a genius. I don't know how you guys do this, but I'm waaaay impressed.

    And THANX!!!

You just saved me a lot of money. The single door just doesn't look good here and I'm sure I'd be really disappointed if I spent big bux on having it done and then not like the results. Also the 4 tail lights doesn't look right either. Your first pic looks like the way I'll go.

Oh, yeah. It looks like I need to restore the license plate. I just found the other one yesterday when I was cleaning out Clarence getting ready to take it to the magic man. It hasn't been installed on the truck since the late '80's when I took the front bumper off. The only use it's had since then is the 3 times I used it to scrape souvenir salt up from Bonneville. It REALLY needs to be restored.

  6. I don't know why there is so much interest in "Selfie's" I tried doing couple and found the entire process to be too time consuming and cumbersome. I can't figure out why the younger generation is so into it.

'cuz it's the ME & I generation. Often wondered how much the "I" prefix increased Apples sales

(thought I'd add a small detail to the above pic)

I'm just thankful there were no camera phones in the '80s. Toga parties and camera phones would NOT have been a good mix and you can't photoshop that stuff away.:eek::D

Would anyone here care to apply the Rod Powell section treatment (yellow '39) to this '41 coupe?

  19. Instead of sectioning I thought I'd give her a chop and for the hell of it add some color...

I've always strayed away from this thread thinking it is just to long to get into. Bored tonight so I ventured in. Wow!! Unreal what you guys can do. I see you get a lot of requests and do them mostly.
I've always wanted to do a 33/34 three window Ford, channeled to the max with full fenders. Also wanted to do the same with a Duval windshield, (now there's a challenge )

Can you shorten the hite of the windshield to the hite of the side glass and shave the roof a hair and it would be "tits" IMO....

Thanks madfish, doesn't look as good as I envisioned. Maybe with a 4" chop it wouldn't look so out of proportion.

  25. OK here's the custom version with a Duval windshield. It would definitely draw some attention.

Hey Moose your absolutely unreal. I wish I had the time left in my life, the money and talent to start on this today. Absolutely unreal, thanks. At the Seattle roadster show a few years back I was talking with one of the nations well known top builders and mentioned doing this, (he has since passed). He looked at me like I was nuts and kind of blew me off. While I know it would be a greater challenge I now know it would be worth all the frustrations and time. I'm copying this, framing it and hanging it next to the top gallery pic's in my garage. Thanks tons man.!!!!!!!

  28. @34Larry ....I was surprised at how good it looked myself. When I first saw you request I didn't think it would fit together very well but after playing around with it for awhile it started to look pretty cool. I'd love to see one in the real world. Thanks for letting us in on your idea, it was a lot of fun doing this one.

  29. Hi I have a 34 Chev tudor sedan project. Its not together so a photo wont assist much, but what I would like to see is how it would look:
fenderless (fenders are toast) with a dropped Henry axle and split bones. ,
Front axle moved forward about 4-6 inches (think 554 Coupe)
285/70/15s on 10 inch wide chrome artillery wheels at back and 205/65/15s on 6 inch wide chrome artilleries on the front (goal here is to fill rear guard openings and have a decent stance)
    Leave hood on the car
And paint Suzuki Swift sport bright yellow which I understand may just be a yellow tinter

Thank you for your assistance. Cheers Todd
